We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand visits and improve these guides. Advertising is currently disabled. This site has no account system or newsletter.
Visiting a page
The site serves static pages. Cloudflare Pages may process IP addresses, request details and operational logs to deliver them; Cloudflare Pages is the selected hosting provider. Its delivery infrastructure may process request and operational information under its privacy policy.
Optional YouTube video
No YouTube iframe loads when you first open the page. Choosing a video cover, play button or YouTube video link opens YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player on this site and requests playback. YouTube may then receive your IP address, browser information and playback interactions under its privacy policy. Choosing “Close video” or pressing Escape removes the embedded player and stops playback, but cannot undo information already sent.
External links and corrections
Steam, Reddit, publisher support and GitHub apply their own policies when you follow links. Repository issues are public; do not share personal or account data there.
Analytics and your choices
Google Analytics measures page visits, traffic sources and navigation interactions. Microsoft Clarity provides interaction insights, heatmaps and session recordings, with sensitive content masked by default. These services may process device, browser, approximate location and interaction data and use analytics cookies. See Google privacy information and Microsoft privacy information.
In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, or when we cannot determine your region, analytics waits for your choice. Elsewhere it may load by default, unless you previously rejected it. A limited Cloudflare request checks your country; our preference code stores the country code, not your IP address. A saved rejection always takes priority. Use to accept, reject or withdraw permission. Withdrawal stops further analytics and clears accessible analytics cookies; it cannot undo data already sent. Advertising storage and personalization remain denied.
