Compare the whole loadout

Write down aircraft, special weapons, part slots, ammunition and intended target. If the weapon cannot engage the target that is ending your run, a more expensive airframe will not solve that mismatch. Check the two-weapon ammunition tradeoff before filling both slots automatically.

When your current aircraft already has a useful weapon, compare a priority or timing change before spending the entire balance. For Mission 8, the reported clear focuses on ground threats. For the Shadows, reported successes depend on openings and ammunition, not just a stat bar.

Avoid three expensive comparisons

• Do not compare an unmodified Online aircraft against a heavily upgraded one as if only their names differ.
• Do not combine one player’s difficulty, another player’s parts and a third player’s score into a guaranteed build.
• Do not assume an enemy-only appearance gives you a purchase goal; check YF-23 availability first.

Use the aircraft roster to find roles, then compare one loadout change on the same mission and difficulty. Retain the result screen so the next purchase has a purpose.
