F-14A was a preorder aircraft bonus and now has a standalone Steam DLC listing. Check your existing entitlement before purchasing. The F-14D is a different entry; owning or flying it does not demonstrate F-14A access.

Check the actual F-14A entitlement
- Open your game’s owned DLC or purchased-content list on the platform where you play.
- Look for Playable Aircraft: F-14A, not just the base game, Deluxe cosmetic set or F-14D.
- If you preordered, compare your receipt and package description with the bonus you expected.
- Check aircraft selection in the mode you want to play. Record whether the problem is missing DLC ownership or missing in-game selection.
The Steam DLC page grants F-14A and requires the base game. Its visible listing is a real post-launch purchase option; this guide does not preserve a price that may vary by region or promotion.
Preorder and Deluxe are separate conditions
The publisher’s September package guide describes F-14A as a bonus for preorders before October 2. A post-launch Deluxe purchase should not be assumed to include every historical preorder benefit. See the edition comparison for that distinction.
If your receipt already includes F-14A, do not use buying the DLC again as troubleshooting. Keep your entitlement evidence for the retailer or publisher. The guide does not establish a universal delivery time or a fix for a missing console code.
If you see it in Campaign but not Online
In the current missing-F-14A discussion, Espio0 says they found preorder and Deluxe items in the Online mailbox. Check that mailbox and collect your owned gifts before assuming the aircraft is unavailable online. This is a player’s successful collection report, not a promise that every entitlement error has the same fix.
Campaign and Online acquisition are separate systems. Next, use the online progression checks, and distinguish a plane locked behind progression from an entitlement the platform does not recognize.
No launch-period source here proves that all DLC variants bypass all online progression gates. Record the menu, aircraft name and ownership status rather than treating a campaign result as proof that the online menu is broken. F-14A and F-14D are both Tomcats, but they are not interchangeable entitlements.
