A successful Steam reply says to deny Queen Flight any first-half target kills: clear the two targets ahead, sweep right, then left and finish the rest. Your Joker squad is the relevant side in that explanation. Waiting for your AI wingmen to kill the last target was the original player’s failed approach.

Joker Flight and Queen Flight are not interchangeable
Virulent’s original question describes repeatedly waiting for allied kills, including attempts with A-10s, Morgans and ESM. Reply #1, by I’m the Cook, interprets the condition as Joker squad clearing the first-half targets before Queen Flight can take any. That explanation concerns ownership of kills, not a need to make your AI destroy a stubborn final enemy.
The discussion does not include a controlled test or a full result screenshot. Treat this as a specific route to try, not proof that every apparent failure is player error or that the game cannot have a bug.
The reported right-side sweep
- Start with a fast aircraft whose available weapons can engage the marked ground targets.
- Destroy the two targets directly ahead at the opening.
- Turn sharply right and clear the targets on that side.
- Continue with the left-side targets, then sweep up the remainder.
- Prioritize whatever lies in Queen Flight’s path so that it does not get the kill first.
- Finish the mission and check whether Broncobuster was awarded.
FrozenDefender reports earning the medal with that order in reply #2. No named aircraft, optimal speed or required weapon is supplied. A fast-plane recommendation does not establish a mandatory endgame unlock.
If the medal still does not appear
On the next attempt, record the opening target order, visible squadron activity, difficulty and whether a checkpoint was restarted. Preserve the result screen. Those are comparison details, not verified additional medal requirements.
If Queen Flight visibly gets a target, revise that part of the sweep first. If you believe Joker cleared every first-half target and the medal is still absent, retain the attempt rather than asserting an unknown hidden condition. Medal completion, S rank and the conditional ace are separate objectives; the Avus entry covers a different reported trigger.
