Combine the grind with unfinished campaign goals
In Steam #2, Graf Koks reports the achievement after playing the campaign five times and pursuing medals, at around 80 hours. Creadeyh in #4 suggests clearing campaign difficulties for other achievements before deciding how much grinding remains.
That is a sensible planning order if you already want those goals: make progress on them, check the achievement counter or condition presented by your version, then decide whether a repeat route is still needed. The post’s estimate of 30–40 hours for efficient farming is speculation, not a measured completion time.
Do not extrapolate from a first-clear reward
Chonkems in #7 reports about 700k from a first Mission 28 run on Pilot. Another commenter points to a first-clear bonus. That large payout is not a repeatable MRP-per-run benchmark, and the effect of difficulty is explicitly uncertain in the discussion.
When evaluating a mission to replay, compare a repeat clear with another repeat clear. Keep first-clear bonuses separate. Use the full reward breakdown rather than treating the score shown during combat as spendable MRP.
Measure your own repeat route
- Choose a mission you can clear reliably with your current equipment.
- Record repeat-clear MRP and elapsed time, including reloads and failures.
- Repeat once with the same difficulty and setup to see whether the payout is stable.
- Compare reward ÷ minutes spent with another mission you can reliably finish.
This is our comparison method, not a claim about the game’s reward formula. A high payout per completed run can lose to a shorter mission if it frequently fails. Mission 28 is worth learning for its own clear and rank goals; it is not proven to be the best MRP farm.
Keep aircraft-tree estimates separate
Commenters disagree about how much the tree costs and discuss cheaper additional squad aircraft. No complete audited purchase list is provided. Do not use either estimate to infer how much MRP you have earned, how much you must spend, or whether spending affects achievement progress. Check the achievement’s actual wording in your client.
