In Co-Op Warfare, sustained scoring without being shot down raises your star-marked Threat Level. Higher stars improve scoring but also make your loss worth more to opponents. Three stars earns the Ace designation. Protecting that run becomes part of the scoring decision.

Read the stars as a reward and a liability
The official online guide explains that higher Threat Level increases points earned and points opponents can collect by shooting you down. It names three stars as Ace Aircraft. The guide does not give a numerical multiplier table.
A new star therefore changes the value of the next engagement. A chase that might be acceptable at low threat can become costly when several opponents can focus an Ace. This is an interpretation of the scoring tradeoff, not a tested optimal tactic.
A practical decision before chasing
- Check your current stars, damage and available weapons.
- Look at the nearby opposition before committing to an isolated chase.
- Decide whether you can finish the target and leave, or whether the pursuit exposes your higher-value aircraft to several opponents.
- After a death, compare the score swing and the circumstances instead of judging the run only by your kill total.
Use teammates to share pressure when possible. The publisher describes electronic-warfare aircraft as support and disruption specialists; that role label does not establish a particular ESM multiplier or invulnerability window.
Do not import a formula from another mode
This page concerns Warfare’s star system. It does not establish that campaign S-rank, Assault scoring and special-sortie results use the same rules. We have no verified per-star values, damage thresholds, exact decay timer or complete death-reset rule.
If you want cooperative NPC combat instead of this PvP risk, read Assault versus Warfare. For a campaign rank failure, compare the mission-specific reports.
